CREATE/CONNECT/COLLABORATE

Doodle

http://www.doodle.com/

This is a really simple site to use. You just decide what choices to put in your survey, and you’ll receive two links via e-mail; one link is to send to those you want to take the survey, and one link for you to use to see the results. You can choose to make the results public or hidden. Only the creator of the survey has to sign up for the account; all the survey takers just go to the link, type in their name and make their choices. The author receives an e-mail each time the survey is taken and can go to the site to see the automatically tallied results.

Students can use this site to gather all kinds of interesting data! Or, they can use it to plan collaboration time as well. What other ways can you think of?

POSTI.CA

http://www.posti.ca/

So, you join posti.ca for free, and you have a place on the Internet where you can leave yourself virtual sticky notes…reminders, etc. But that’s not all! In addition to being able to e-mail your notes to others, you can set it up to e-mail yourself your notes daily or weekly. But there’s more! You can attach files to those sticky notes too! Pretty cool!

How would you have students use these?
